freesavethedate.online: free save the dates as a first step to Eventinfo.pro
On freesavethedate.online you create a free digital save the date with an add to calendar button and early RSVP. It is a spin-off of Eventinfo.pro and deliberately meant as a first step: when you are ready to send a full invitation, you create it with Eventinfo.pro.
A save the date goes out early and asks guests for just one thing: keep this day free. That does not call for a complicated product, so in October we turned it into a separate, free service.
What you get
On freesavethedate.online you pick a design, add the date and place and share one link by WhatsApp, email or social media. Guests add the date to their calendar in one click and let you know early whether they are coming. They do not need an app or an account. You see all replies in one overview and can still change the details later. The link stays the same.
Built on Eventinfo.pro
Technically, freesavethedate.online is not a new system. It runs on the same platform as Eventinfo.pro and our card sites, with its own domain and its own look. The difference is in the settings: there is one type of event, the save the date, with only the features that belong to it. That allowed us to launch quickly and keeps maintenance light.
A first step, not the end point
The free save the date is deliberately a first step. Once the programme is set, the real invitation follows, with the full schedule, directions, a guestbook and a matching email to all guests. You create that with Eventinfo.pro. If you made your save the date with us, you already know how it works.
The site launched in English and is meant for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and other big celebrations. More languages will follow.
