How we write articles with AI
We write a lot of articles with a high degree of automation, but every article goes through the same fixed steps: a brief, a chosen tone of voice, a humanizer pass, a fact-check and a human review. Claude and Perplexity work together, with our own knowledge base as the foundation.

We publish articles for abonnement.nl, Eventinfo.pro and our card sites. With a small team, that is only possible if most of the writing is automated. Speed is not the goal, though. An article has to give readers something they cannot easily find elsewhere.
It starts with a brief
Every article starts with a brief that AI drafts for us: the keyword, the reader’s question, the angle, the structure and the sources. Then we choose the tone of voice, which differs per site. On abonnement.nl we write in an accessible, informative way; on geboortekaarten.online, our birth announcement site, the tone is warm and light. Writing only starts once the brief and the tone are settled.
Claude and Perplexity, each with its own job
For current facts we use Perplexity. It searches the web and cites its sources with every answer. Claude combines that information, writes the text and checks it.
What makes the difference is what Claude gets on top of that. We have built our own knowledge base with summaries of annual reports, market reports and industry figures, such as circulation data and research into news consumption. That lets an article connect today’s news to background you will not find with a quick search.
Two checks and a human
After writing, two fixed steps follow. A humanizer removes typical AI patterns, such as empty lists and inflated words. A fact-checker verifies every claim against the sources, and anything that cannot be confirmed is cut. After that, someone on our team always reads the article before it goes live.
So the gain is not in the typing. It is in the preparation and the checks, which are equally thorough for every article. That is what allows us to publish a lot without compromising on quality. This article was made the same way, by the way.
